Technical Services

The Technical Services team provides districts with support for computers, software, peripherals, digital printers, infrastructure, network and telecommunications technologies. The team of about 50 technology professionals supports the operation of desktop, laptop and tablet computers and maintains more than 200 physical servers and 200 virtual serversacross the five-county MORIC service region. The team also partners with other RegionalInformation Centers to support disaster recovery needs for participating districts.

Some technical services available through MORIC include: wireless networks, data backups,server virtualization, Internet filtering, email and email archiving, desktop and servermanagement, workstation installations, Voice Over IP and SysOp training.
